Hurlock Book Locker

PLACING ORDERS TO THE LOCKER

1) Order books before 3:00PM on Thursdays with a librarian or online at www.dorchesterlibrary.org/borrowing-materials

• When placing online orders, select “Hurlock Book Locker” as pick up location

2) Once you receive notification that the order is filled, your item(s) is/are available in a locker unit

3) Items will be held for 72hrs

Picking up a held item

1) When you arrive, the locker is located on the back patio by the white emergency exit door

2) Scan your library card or type in your barcode number

3) The system will tell you which locker your item(s) is/are located in and will open it

4) Once it is opened, retrieve your items and press the door firmly closed again (you should hear a small click when it is locked)

5) Items are automatically checked out

Returning Book Locker Items

• Like all library materials, items can be returned at the book drop or at any library location on the Eastern Shore

Orders placed after 3:00PM on Thursdays may not be filled until the following week!
