Second Saturday Book SaleThe Friends' Second Saturday book sale is held monthly from September through July, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the "Book Cellar" located on the lower level of the Central Library, 303 Gay Street, Cambridge. Second Saturday Book SaleThe Friends' Second Saturday book sale is held monthly from September through July, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the "Book Cellar" located on the lower level of the Central Library, 303 Gay Street, Cambridge. The sale features gently used books as well as collectibles and other items of interest. Anyone who would like to donate books, paperbacks, audio or video tapes, special interest magazines, books, specialty magazines, CDs, as well as old maps, postcards, handbills, photographs, playing cards, other paper memorabilia, collectibles, or book shelving to the Friends of the Library to help them stock the "Book Cellar", may drop items off at the Central and Hurlock Libraries during normal business hours. The library staff can supply a dated receipt for tax purposes when provided with the total number of items donated in each category.
