From Our Director

In accordance with the Governor's recommendations, and for the safety of our community and staff, the Cambridge and Hurlock branches are closed until further notice.

Patrons are encouraged to keep any materials currently checked out and return them when the library reopens. No fees will be accrued on materials during this closure. Patron holds will also be held for an additional week once the libraries reopen.

Patrons may continue to use digital library services such as Hoopla, Libby and Overdrive with their library cards. Please visit our Facebook page for additional online programs and for the most current information regarding our closure. For any other questions, email us at infodesk@dorchesterlibrary.org.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we all learn more about this developing situation.

We will soon be accepting returns and look forward to launching curbside service in June! While our services may seem limited, the safety of patrons and staff remains our top priority. We appreciate your flexibility and support as we all move forward together. Please stay tuned to our Facebook account and new website for more information!
